Glitches if internal vreg is used for tms320f28027

As per data sheet it is said that glitches will be observed at few GPIO pins during power up if internal regulator is used.

1. What kind of gltiches it is

2. I am using the GPIO to control the relay. Thus will these glitches make on and off the relay.

3. How it will affect

The performance of my application which to control relay operation

  • Hi Ashutosh,

I guess you're talking about this extract from datasheet:

It can be the logic transitions ie (0-1 or 1-0) or spikes.

Quite possible. So during Power ON... relay might turn ON & OFF, though chattering should not be experienced.

Normally its recommended to supply 1.8V externally for critical applications. I personally use the on-chip one and my application also has a relay.
