C2000 negative voltage to ADC pin

Hi,

I am using F280xx controller, its reference voltage is from 0 to 3.3V. I want to know is it possible to give negative voltage to the ADC pin.

  • Hi Githin,

You can give a voltage of -0.3V to 0V on the pins without permanently damaging the device. If the voltage on the inputs is less than VSSA (this would be the case for any negative input voltage), then you also need to ensure that the total clamping current in/out of all pins does not exceed 20mA to avoid permanently damaging the device.
