F28335 Boot-mode

We are using F2812 and MPMC input pin is set to VCC to force ZONE 7 and XINTF. We have a jump address in an FPGA that are mapped to Zone 7. We cant find an equivalent way to boot using F28335. We are not allowed to use TI ROM Boot code because of RTCA level C requirements.

Do you have a solution for that problem?

please refer to www.ti.com/.../spru963a.pdf, section 2.9 for Jump to XINTF Zone 6 for 16-bit data and XINTF Zone 6 configured for 32-bit data. Also please refer to XINTF documentation for F2833x, www.ti.com/.../spru949d.pdf.

There is no way to bypass boot ROM on 28335x, you will have to use one of the XINTF boot modes or boot to flash/OTP and do what is necessary. The ROM sources for the devices are provided in controlSuite (C:\ti\controlSUITE\libs\utilities\boot_rom\2833x), you can refer to them to see what code gets executed before branching to the needed boot modes.
