Is Lab05h compatible with the TIDA-00643 reference design? I've attempted to run this lab on 2 different boards and in each case it has resulted in smoking one of the FETs on each board almost immediately after run enable. I've been able to use all the other labs as outlined in tiduak1.pdf with this hardware up to this point.

We've not heard of any issues using the lab05h project with the reference design you mentioned. Can you please attach your user.h for the team to review?

Both attempts were buffer_mode=1.0, first attempt smoked immediately with the speed reference set to 500rpm, the second i put the ref at 800rpm and it spun the motor for about 2 seconds before being damaged. Force angle disabled in both cases.

Hi Shay,

Which lab05h are you using? You need to change the hal.c and hal.h based on TIDA-00643 hardware, especially the ADC channel configuration for current and voltage sample in void HAL_setupAdcs(HAL_Handle handle) of hal.c. If not, the motor can't run well, even was damaged.

I'm using the lab05h that is copied over from the boostxldrv8305_revA folder as outlined in 5.1.1 & 5.1.2 of tiduak1.pdf. The .project & .cproject are updated to reflect the new tida-00643 directory as well.
