we have an urgent request from our customer they want to program the ti chip remotely, through Bluetooth which is on one of the SPI's .

They want to be able to download the hex file and program it through an android tablet.

is this doable?

what changes we need to do in the hardware?

and how much work is that to accomplish?

i have switch on the three pins and it is set to get right now.

is there resources to help with this.

Unfortunately we do not have an example through SPI and bluetooth. The general method for updating the device would be to load a kernel + the flash API using the on-chip SPI bootloader. Control would then transfer to the kernel and the CPU would then program the incoming datastream.

The kernel + API method is described in this application note http://www.ti.com/lit/sprabv4 describes this method with SCI and USB. The corresponding project and its source can be found in controlSUITE (www.ti.com/controlsuite) in the device_support\~Utilities\serial_flash_programmer folder.
