TMS320F28333: Flash API incorrect PARTID error for erase operation

A F28333 customer is using the flash APIs for a custom programming solution, and getting an incorrect PARTID failure for the erase operation.

He is using the library from ControlSuite here:

C:\TI\controlSUITE\libs\utilities\flash_api\2833x\28333\v210\lib\Flash28335_API_V210.lib

QUESTION: Why is this library called '...28335' when it is in the 28333 folder?

QUESTION: The library file has a date of August 15, 2013 on disk. How is this possible for F28333? It didn't exist then!

Has the wrong file possibly been put in the F28333 folder?

F28333 requires a F28333 Flash API library file. When you use F28335 Flash API on F28333, it is expected to get incorrect PARTID failure. I will investigate why F28335 library file is used in controlSuite example and get back with you.

F28333 controlsuite example is indeed wrong. We are expecting to correct it by next controlsuite release (Apr 13 / 14)

Note that C2000Ware has the same problem.

Do we have the API library for F28333 that you can send me now? My customer is waiting for it.
