Respected sir/ Madam

I am doing project on inverters.I need to produce gate pulses.For that i am using TMS320f28335 micro controller. I tried with examples it self from Control suite 3.3. But after running the code in CCS5 version i didn't see any pulses at pin number 23(EPWM-1A).Could any one kindly help me on this.I tried for 2 month before. But this most requirement for my project.And i uploaded some pics.I observed that while running the code no EPWM register is updated. I am not getting it briefly.

I didn't observe changing values in EPWM 1A register.

From CRO i didn't get any pulses.It is constantly showing the 3.4V when i connected with PC.

Hi Praveen, from the 2nd screenshot looks like the code hasn't been run yet. Can you click the 'play' button on the toolbar (or F8)? After waiting a few seconds, click the 'pause' button (or ATL+F8). Code should have stopped in the Idle loop and you should observe ePWM1 registers getting updated.

Thanks for your valuable information Nabil sir. Now i observed some updated values.But still i am not getting any pulses.Could you kindly resolve my problem in this view.

I don't know weather this code gives me pulses or not.But could you suggest any inbuilt program for producing the code. Actually i need pulses to run the inverter.

This is will provide a good introduction on TMS320F28335. Chapter 7 covers PWM and the associated Lab files should provide sample code to generate a PWM signal.

Good morning sir! . I studied the manuals before. Mainly sprug04a. From that one only i understood ePWM registers.But my problem is to generate pulses.The program also from control suite it self. I didn't modified any thing like a code with in the program.I did as per the screen shots i mentioned. I am not getting why this program is not giving any pulses after register values were updated.

Is this a dev kit or a custom board? Secondly, I hope you're probing the right ePWM pins.

If you are using dev kit you can also try with c2000 ware (www.ti.com/.../c2000ware) example code.

Gautam sir! I have pin diagram with me.According to it My output pin(GPIO-00/EPWM-1A) number 23.and ground pin is 27 (GND).

If you have the latest ControlSuite (http://www.ti.com/tool/CONTROLSUITE ) have a look at the example code epwm_up_aq located:
