TMS320F280049C: VREFHIB and VREFHIC

Hi Champs,

on the TMS320F280049M ControlCard VREFHIB/VREFHIC is using a 2,2uF capacitor. Is this correct?

Shouldn't there be 2 x 2,2uF placed on this pin since internally it is connected to 2 ADC's.

Hi,

Only one 2.2uF external cap is required for VREFHIB/VREFHIC since the VREF circuit for ADC module B is turned off during internal mode.

Hi one and zero,

It is the same thing for external reference mode. A single 2.2uF in terminal VREFHIB/C is sufficient capacitance for the reference voltage for modules ADC B and C.
