Hi, We are doing an inverter design for which we want use TI DSP. In our lab we are using TMDSDOCK28335. But for our size limitation, we are thinking to use LAUNCHXL-F28379D.

I want to know the dimension of the LAUNCHXL-F28379D as I didn't find it in its datasheet and I also want to know whether this can be used compared to TMDSDOCK28335. ( I think LAUNCHXL-F28379D is more powerful than TMDSDOCK28335)

Sifat,

The bare PCB is 5.11" x 2.3". This does not include the extrusion of the USB or the Reset button. You can download the Altium files and generate a 3D model if it is necessary. LAUNCHXL-F28379D Rev2.0 is also available to order online. Please remember that the Launchpad is an evaluation module and is not intended for use in a production environment.

The TMS320F28379D is a more powerful than the TMS320F28335. Please refer to the Delfino product page for a comparison and other information on the two devices: www.ti.com/.../overview.page

These can be found in the C2000Ware directory at: C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_1_00_02_00\boards\LaunchPads\LAUNCHXL_F28379D\R2.0\design files
