Minimum which we have managed to achieve is about 20mA, by switching off everything we could think of:

modules, clocks, and putting it to halt mode.

Datasheet postulates 4mA ( internal regulator is On)

Is there something wrong? Is there anybody who can get less current on presently available silicon?

Did you follow note 3 from the datasheet?

(3) In order to realize the IDDA currents shown for IDLE, STANDBY, and HALT, clock to the ADC module must be turned off explicitly by

writing to the PCLKCR0 register.

What about I/O loading?

Yes, familiar with that one.

No significant loads on IO.

If you've done that (putting F28027 into lowest possible consumption mode) and have a simple code for it, could you send it to me please?

All three of the low power mode code examples are included in the software package.

Tried things like HaltWake.c etc

Didn't work.

A bit disconcerting when examples don't work.

Since I had to work out for myself how to drop consumption to 4mA, managed lowest 2mA as complete Halt mode

Still few mysteries remain, but at least I can move on with my project.

What do you mean by "didn't work". It works for me.

When you take the measurements do you disconnect the emulator?

here is an example of putting the device in Halt mode

make sure you aren't loading any of the I/O pins
