TMS320F280200: If the F280200 can work with beckhoff EtherCAT ET1100 device

Dear team,

My customer would like to check if they can use F280200 pair with ET1100 in their future designs.

Can you please advise if our device support SPI mode 3 as at Figure 19: SPI read access (2 byte addressing, 2 byte read data) with Wait State byte

Could you find ET1100 datasheet in the link below and approve that the F280200 can support it?

we haven't done analysis on F2802x with ET1100. We have a F2837xD SPI based etherCAT solution with ET1100 as the ESC interfaced to the MCU over SPI or EMIF.

I would suggest to take the PDI HAL API Test app provided with the TMDSECATCNCD379D kit in controlSuite (C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\TMDSECATCND379D_V1.0) and port it to the F2802x. The SPI on F2802x and F2837x should be compatible for the use case you are looking for, by that I mean specifically the CLK Phase and Polarity configuration we have it working on F2837x and ET1100 is also supported on F2802x SPI.
