TMDSRSLVR: Hardware Schematics Resolver interface

Hello TI,

I want to connect my Motor's Resolver to the TMDSRSLVR Eval. board. I have seen schematics and also attached below. I dont understand which one is which. How to connect sin +/- , cos +/- and excitation +/- to the J10 of the TMDSRSLVR board.

Can anyone help me to clarify the interface?

You mean pin mapping? If so here is the attached fig:

Pins 1-2 : Sine

Pins 3-4 : Cosine

Pins 7-8 : Primary

Hello,

Looks like you are just starting. In general, swapping the winding +/- does not damage the board. For example, as long as you connect the sine winding terminals to pins 3 and 4 on J10, it is ok. A different combo of +/- will only alter the angle estimation and not damage the board. Remember, all the windings are electrically isolated within the resolver. Once you understand the setup, you can reconnect appropriately per your need.

It's clearly seen but still Instead of Pins 7-8 : Primary , it is Pins 6-7: Primary.
