I am currently supporting a customer using a SM320F2812-HT (200C DSP) and he is asking the following question:

In the Absolute Values table, max VIO is listed at 4.92V. But later in the "recommended values" table, it is listed as VDIO. Are they 5V tolerant? Do they have internal clamping diodes, or do I need to add my own, in order to make them 5V tol?

Essentially he is trying to determine whether he can get away with interfacing the HT DSP device to a memory device with 5V interface without any external clamping.  Since the SM320F2812-HT is a 3.3V device and the HT memory is 5V, he is trying to determine how to interface them to each other.

Also, he is asking what HT memory device did TI use during testing of the SM320F2812-HT.  His logic is, it had to be interfaced to something equally capable of operating at 200C.  In advance, thank you for your kind assistance.
