TIDM-1008: Incomplete Gerber Reference

Dear TI,

i want to use the PCB reference design from the TIDM-1008. The PCB PDF in the Design Files folder shows all required Layers (Top, Power, Ground and Bottom).

The PCB Manufacturer said it isn't possible to build a 3 Layer PCB there is a need to be 2 or 4 Layers. So I watched online the Gerberfiles and i couldn't find the GND Layer, too.

So Am I unable to find it or isn't it there?

Hi Stefan,
The pdf of layers is missing the layer - we noted that and it's being fixed.
You could use the CAD database and generate in the meantime? The altium data base is complete with all the information needed.

Dear Bharathi,
it's not about the pdf, it's about the gerber file for production.
I'm using eagle and have no Altium license so i can't open the Altium files. So could you may upload the full generated Gerber files for the EnDat Master Inteferface?

Are you sure the inner GND Layer is correct?
It looks like the Layer is inverted. Actual only 4 or 5 vias are connected to a trace which may is GND. But it seems very few connections to GND.
