TMS320F2808: Range of Voltage difference, ADCREFP - ADCREFM

Part Number: TMS320F2808

Hi Champ,

From theF280x datasheet , just can found the TYP value of  "Voltage difference, ADCREFP - ADCREFM" is 0.75V

Without the MIN and Max Value .

Now My customer want to know  the MIN and Max Value  of " Voltage difference, ADCREFP - ADCREFM".

Could you help to provide?

Thanks!

  • Huihuang,

The voltages on the pin ADCREFP/ADCREFM are sourced from the internal BG reference that sets the common mode for the ADC, and as such will have an impact on the gain error term(1st order effect) of the ADC. We give general guidance on the voltage output of these signals since they are brought out to pins; however, the only reason they come to a pin is so they can be connected to a 2.2uF capacitor to act as a passive buffer. They are not meant to be loaded by any other circuit external to the device.

The min/max value of these pins or their difference is not important to the operation of the device in the absolute sense; as the gain error parameter in the DS is guaranteed over the full operating conditions for the device by TI through test and characterization. So, we do not provide a min/max for these voltages.

    Best,
    Matthew
