Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1042
I want to be able to research parts that plug into the jumpers but the User Manual does not mention the size of them or recommend pieces that interface with them.

Hi Alicia,
Thanks for asking your question on the E2E forum. Sorry you couldn't find the information you were looking for. On all of our new EVMs we list a BOM in the user guide, but this is an older EVM so the BOM is not listed. The headers for the ISO1050EVM that are next to the device are typical 0.1" spaced headers (JMP1, JMP2, JMP3, JMP4). On the outside of the board we have SMA headers (J2, J3, J4). For power we have banana jacks at the top of the board.
If you are evaluating a device for a new design I would recommend you consider our newest isolated CAN transceiver - the ISO1042. The ISO1042 is an upgraded device with higher isolation rating, CAN FD speeds of 5 Mbps, higher bus fault-protection voltage, better EMC performance, and smaller package options. The ISO1042 EVM can be found on the tools & software tab of the ISO1042 product folder.
The ISO1042 has 0.1" headers to interface with and testpoints you can clip oscilloscope probes onto.
Best regards,
Dan
