Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28069M, BOOSTXL-DRV8301, DRV8301, 2MTR-DYNO, CCSTUDIO, MOTORWARE
Hello,
I have a problem with establishing comminucation with my LAUNCHXL-F28069M demoboard, trying to run it with BOOSTXL-DRV8301 motor driver board.
The FTDI chip on the LaunchXL board was reprogrammedby me, according to the recommendations from the doc (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprui11b/sprui11b.pdf - Virtual COM port at channel B was enabled. Now the PC (Windows 10) detects COM port with name "XDS100 Class USB Serial Port (COM11)". Also there are 2 devices in devicetree under heading: Texas Instr. Debug Probes, so the PC sees the debugger and COM-port.
The LaunchXL board loads successfully, and some demo-app prints out the temperature into the console, thus board and UART communication is OK.
I'm trying to load the InstaSPIN_MOTION_F2806xM.exe application to start work with my DRV8301 and my bldc motors 2MTR-DYNO, but on initialization I always see the same error -
Restarting Program Model...
Initializing target : C:\ti\guicomposer\webapps\InstaSPIN_MOTION_F2806xM\appConfig.ccxml
Connecting target: Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator_0/C28xx
sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.WrappedException: Wrapped com.ti.ccstudio.scripting.environment.ScriptingException: Error connecting to the target: emulation failure occurred (<Unknown source>#14) in <Unknown source> at line number 14Restart Completed.
So what can be wrong? I do everything exclusively acc.to TI documentation, but with no results.
Regards,
Roman Fedoryak.
