DRV8301-69M-KIT: Using DRV8301_69M_KIT for generator control

I have been completing the InstaSPIN labs to learn the control of this evaluation kit. The end goal is Maximum Power Point Tracking control of a generator driven by a small hydrokinetic turbine. However, I have not found any documentation on generator control or regenerative braking for this kit. Also, it looks there may be some complications with powering the controller when power is flowing into the 3-phase side. Does anyone have experience using this controller for FOC with a generator? Is there some labs or documentation for this application? Is there a similar kit designed for generator control? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Most modules for moto control can be used for the generator control also, but there is not a solution or reference design and the related document for a generator yet in controlSUITE. You may have research on this topic via the website, but you may reuse the algorithm modules and kits of motor control for the generator.

Do you know of any documentation for regenerative braking with this board? Any resources about having power flow back to the DC side would be very helpful.
