Part Number: TMS320F28027

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I am sourabh working on Launchpad F28027. Suddenly launchpad shows the error message as "Device is locked or not connected" while programming using CCS9. I search number of threads but didn't found any valid answer.

Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

Thanking you,

  • Sourabh,

Have you programmed the passwords on this device? Instead of launching the project, launch the target configuration file and connect to CCS. After connecting, view the flash content via CCS memory watch window. If it's all 0x0 then device is locked and need to be unlocked to access it.

  • Sourabh,

  • Hello Mr. Vivek and Mr. Joe

Thank you for your reply. Still i am facing the same issue. I am unable to open flash memory window. Can you explain me step by step where i can find the flash memory window?

    Thank you,

    Sourabh patil

  • Sourabh,

After you connect to the device in CCS, go to View->Memory Browser.  Once this comes up you want to look type in address 0x3F7FF8 in the address box.  This will bring up the password locations on the device.  Click 'refresh in the toolbar", if these locations 0x3F7FF8-0x3F7FFF are all 0x0000 the the device has been locked.

Let us know what you find.

    Best,
    Matthew
