CCS/TMS320F28377S: XDS510USB and CCS 3.1 works for this device?

Hi,

My customer would like to develope the code for F28377S with using XDS510USB and CCS3.1.

Q1. Do they works well?

Q2. Do they works on Windows10? I believe that XDS510USB works on Windows10

The customer has experience to develope the code for F2812 with XDS510USB and CCS3.1. It's the background for this question.

Hi,

CCS3.1 will not work (need to use CCS8) and XDS510USB is not recommended for development with new C2000 devices.

Taki,

As Vivek said, you need to use CCSv8 (for 32-bit windows, this is the CCS version recommended) or CCSv9 (this does not support 32-bit windows, good for 64-bit windows).

Regarding the emulator, XDS200 gives comparable performance with that of XDS510USB.

I will reccomed the customer to use CCSv8 for win32 or CCSv9 for win64 and XDS200 instead of XDS510USB.

The following question is for just confirmation.
If the customer run CCSv3.1 on any windows version that the CCSv3.1 can run, does CCSv3.1 work for F28377S?
