TMS320F28035: how to judge if the crystal is okay for our MCU?

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Hi,

my customer observed the external crystal waveform as below( X1 to GND):

The DC bias will swing at some time.

At the same time we observe the waveform of XCLKOUT, there is no such swing:

My questions is:

1. How can we judge if the crystal is okay for our MCU? We can not tell by the waveform of X1 and X2, right?

Then can we tell by the waveform of XCLKOUT?

2. In this particular case, is XCLKOUT waveform above enough to prove the crystal is generating qualified clock for MCU? (Assuming the clock frequency is accurate enough).
