CCS/TMS320F28379D: Verification failed. Password for the launchpad?

Hello Team,

I am trying to debug two F28379D launchpads but encounter a Verification failed. Please see below for detail. The top marking of the two is shown here. $4C 96AKDPW and $4C 92ATY6W.
I use another F28379D launchpad with IC top marking YFC-64AXXQW and have no problem debug and burn code to the launchpad.

May I know if you have password to unlock the two launchpads with IC top marking $4C 96AKDPW and $4C 92ATY6W?

Hi Ting,

What version of CCS are you using? You need to update to 8.1 or later, as there have been updates to the flash programmer for the newer "$4" IC material.

We recommend updating to the latest CCS versions available: CCSv8.3.1 for 32-bit Windows systems and CCSv9.x or higher for 64-bit Windows systems.

Thank you for the prompt supports!

Using CCS9 with added compiler path, the problem is solved. Using Help, Install New Code Generation Compiler Tools, for installing compiler C2800 C18.1.3 does not work since the message shows some defect in the C18.1.3 compiler. Manually linking the previous compiler path to current project can solve the compiler version difference problem.

Right click the project and select properties, in General session, click on More and Add the previous compiler path.
