CCS/TIDM-02008: Problem with import project from powerSUITE

Part Number: TIDM-02008
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: POWERSUITE, C2000WARE-DIGITALPOWER-SDK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello!

Problem with import project from power SUITE. Import tab is not active. When I click on import nothing happens. Another buttons work well.

  • Rutskoy,

Are you looking at powerSUITE from inside CCS, Resource Explorer on dev.ti.com or a standalone powerSUITE application?

If in CCS I browse to the same example you are looking at I see this:

If I click the import tab I see:

I then choose to install the package:

When that is done it prompts me to finish the import:

It then imports and opens up the powerSUITE UI:

If you are running this from outside CCS I would suggest trying it from inside CCS.  To do this, open CCS, then open Resource Explorer from the View menu.

    Regards,

    John

  • Dear John,

Im looking for inside CCS. But nothing happen when I click. Button absolutely no active.

  • Rutskoy,

Your screen looks different than mine.  Could you capture more of the screen so that it shows what you have selected in the tree in Resource Explorer?  What version of CCS are you running?

You could also try importing the example by navigating to here and then clicking on the 3 dots to get the context menu and select to import.  Or click on import at the very top right.

    REgards,

    John

  • Rutskoy,

As John mentioned, make sure you have a version of the DigitalPower SDK installed on your machine prior to trying to import the project via TIREX. Do note you can always import the project following the usual by navigating to the directory with the projectspec by selecting 'Project' -> 'Import CCS Project'. By the way, from what location are obtaining the DIgitalPower SDK? TIREX (dev.ti.com) or the tool page (C2000Ware-DigitalPower-SDK)?

    Regards,

    Ozino

  • John and Ozino,

I installed the DigitalPower SDK from TI website. I really have another different window.

So I deleted and clear all folder from SDK and installed again. Now seems that works properly.

    Thank yo for the support!
