TMS320F28379D: Embedded Licensing Program

From the TI side I'm not familiar with anything like this being used by other customers.

Typically customers selling their software/solution are either preprogramming the devices and reselling, licensing their software fully, or they work with a distributor for secure programming of their end customer's devices.

Actually, this is a business model we are being asked more and more. Our clients asks if they could license our hardware and firmware, and in order to make a better integration (and lower manufacturing costs), integrate all of our devices into their systems. 

There are some solutions for other microcontrollers, like ARM or Infineon. It could be interesting if texas could provide something similar and easy to do.

For the moment, we have only found a german company that maybe could achieve this:
