I understand that LaunchXL-F280049C is paired with DRV8320 booster pack and TMS320F28027F is paired with DRV8353Rx. Is it possible to use the DRV8353Rx (or any other booster pack) with LaunchXL-F280049C?

I understand that there might be some extra hardware that will be required to connect LaunchXL-F280049C and DRV8353. But the question is, will I be able to use INSTASPINUNIVERSALGUI with that?

Yes, the F280049C LauchPad can be used with DRV8353, but you need to modify the device configuration files (hal.c, hal.h and user.h) accordingly based on the examples for DRV8320 in motorControlSDK.

There are new GUI for F280049C LauchPad with DRV8320, you might refer to it also in motorControlSDK.
