Hi, 

Will we have the demo code for InstaSPIN, to support dual motors, on F28002xC?

Another request from powertools market, one motor (10PP) needs to work in two conditions:

1) Normal one, low speed high torque, like 3000RPM, FOC, close loop, like InstaSPIN. 

2) Special one, higher speed low torque, like 60000RPM, open loop control, trapezoidal, 10% speed accuracy. It's like PWM duty directly comes from BMEF and comparator.

Can we do?

    Hi Jordan,

    The F28002x based dual-motor control with digital PFC software alpha version will be available for internal evaluation this year.

    The F28002x should be enough for such applications, even is overkill if the application just needs the speeds as you mentioned and doesn't need a very low or zero speed with a full load. We just have some older examples of trapezoidal control that could help this low experienced of a customer get started with any C2000 devices.

    Two request from customer: 

    1) F28002x for dual motors, FOC, no PFC.

    What will be the driver board? The same as F28004x, which is DRV8320?

    2) F28002x for one motor, FOC and trapezoidal can be configured. FOC is for the normal control, while trapezoidal is for high speed, open loop control.

    For these two requests, what can we share to customer?
