Hi team,

Is the SDFM module of TMS320F28377D-EP electrically isolated inside?

I would like to measure the shunt current, but the reference potential of the shunt resistor and the TMS320F28377D-EP are different.

If the SDFM module is internally non-electrically isolated, an external isolation amplifier must be included.

    Liu,

    We don't have isolation barrier inside SDFM module. We don't need isolation barrier on SDFM because TMS320F28377D are placed in cold side. SD-modulators are placed in the hotside. TI does have SD-modulators which comes with isolation. For eg: AMC1304, AMC1306.
