TMS320F280049: Can SFRA be used with CLA?

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

1) Can SFRA be used on CLA? If yes, is there any limitation?

2) If not, would you please explain how you tuned the compensators with CLA on TI reference design with CLA codes, like TIDM-02002, TIDM-1022?

    Wayne, 

    1. No SFRA was never ported to CLA, hence it cannot be used on the CLA. One can partition the system such that they run the SFRA part on C28x and run the controller on CLA. I do not have a direct example of this. 

    2. We tune the coefficients on the C28x and the use the same on the CLA, the SDK software allows for easily porting to C28x to CLA, 

    3. On TIDM-1022 we do not run control loop on CLA but on the C28x (CLA is used for valley switching part only)
