hello ,

I meet some problems when I run parameter identification for a pmsm using TI FAST on tms320f28054f .

I have konwn the motor's Rated current is 16A,I defined the est data in user.h as below:

USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT (3.4) //(10%*16*1.414)

but I find the current output on the oscilloscope can only reach about 2A when it is in the state of EST_State_Rs .however the there is no problem in the state of EST_State_RoverL and the current output can reach 1.7A (as described in the datasheet : 50% of the USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT ).

Now I can't find Which parameter limits the current output on the state of EST_State_Rs,Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I want to clarify one thing from the code below

USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT (3.4) //(10%*16*1.414)

Assuming that 16 A is the rated current, the peak value should be 16*1.414=22.624 A and 10% of it should be 2.264 A. Did you put this number in the code or did you put 3.4?

Hi john,

thanks for your reply ! sorry,I put 3.4 in my code to do a test . I found the est Rs DC current is only about 2A not the USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT(3.4), however when it is in the est state of R/L,the peak current output is right and equal to 1.7 =0.5* USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT

Can you check the value of USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT?
