TMS320F28388D: interfacing SystemView to the new C2000 incorporating an ERAD module

Hi team,

Maybe you know SystemView from Segger, a powerful visualization tool to analyze the runtime behavior of embedded systems. At the present time, interfacing SystemView to C2000 without advanced tracing features is not optimal as you have to face serial link limitations. As this tool is really nice, I was wondering if at TI it would not be worth interfacing SystemView to the new C2000 incorporating an ERAD module. Currently, the sets of data are collected through a variety of CPU registers dedicated to ERAD that are read and written via Java scripts, without real visualization capabilities (text files).

Could you please comment on this?
Is there anything in the pipeline?

I'm not aware of anything as far as a GUI to wrap around ERAD for debugging.

Jason Whiles is there any plan for such tool or support of Segger SystemView?

We have not had requests for this so far and I don't see anything in the pipeline at this time. This tooling is new to me. It is good you highlight this, if we see more pull for this then it looks like an interesting idea.
