Does someone know if it is possible to perform FLASH reprogramming through SCI-A bootloader or one can only load some code to RAM that way?

Roman,
Please take a look at white paper. It goes through the details on live firmware update steps.
Thanks you for interesting links!
Please correct me if I'm wrong: we will need to boot MCU in SCI bootloader mode (GPIO34 = 0) and load "serial flash kernel" to RAM, which I assume is supplied with C2000Ware and then this kernel will receive and program new firmware to FLASH?
Assuming we do not need live update.
Assigning the thread to Flash expert.
Please be advised that many folks are out of office due to holidays and returning back to office next week. So response could be delayed.
Roman,
Please take a look at this serial flash programming guide: https://www.ti.com/lit/sprabv4
If you have any questions, we can loop in the serial kernel expert. Let us know.
Thanks and regards,
