I want to generate 12 pulse for a 3 level inverter using ePWM output. Do let let me know how this can be achieved.

If this is a new project I would recommend using a newer C28x device like TMS320F28379S or TMS320F28379D or TMS320f28388D.

Are you trying to output a 12 pulse pattern on one ePWM output? Or are you trying to output 12 separate PWM outputs?

Both can be done, however the former is more difficult when the pulses don't occur at a regular period. Nevertheless it can be done.

Hi Cody,

Thank you for your post.

We had already purchased F28335 for generating 6 pulses for a 2 level inverter control. As we would like to implement a 3 level control, we would like to use the same card.

I think we need 12 ePWM modules to generate the pulses.

Perfect, 12 PWM outputs are available. Please use GPIOs 0 through GPIO 11 to output these PWMs.
