TMS320F28379D: BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV PCMC didn't control voltage output

Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV, TMS320F280049C

hello

       i port code controlling BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV to TMS320F28379D from TMS320F280049C.

       i take steps as follow,

              a.turn on 9 VDC supply.

              b.turn on sw1

              c. click resume shortcut to run the program

it results in a very large peak current.

and i take another steps as follow,

              a. click resume shortcut to run the program

              b.turn on 9 VDC supply.

              c.turn on sw1

    it is ok. why ?

We won't be able to answer your question of "why" directly because the solution has been ported to another platform. There are too many opportunities for the introduction of unintended differences.

As a starting point, I recommend observing the H-Drv, L-Drv, and Vout testpoints on the BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV during the undesired state to understand what physical conditions are present and how they contribute to your sensed readings.
