TMS320F28027: external crystal circuit

Part Number: TMS320F28027

推荐 SPEC-CSTNE8M00G550000R0.pdf

Hi expert,

My customer is design a board using F28027. And they choose CSTNE8M00G550000R0 as their external crystal.

It is a 8MHz crystal.

now I am helping customer to review the circuit.

from the datasheet, we can see the recommandation for 10MHz crystal. so where to find the value for a 8MHz?

Another question is

I see a note: CL1 and CL2 are the total capacitance of the circuit board and components excluding the IC and crystal. The value is usually approximately twice the value of the crystal's load capacitance.

So this means the Built-in Load Capacitance for the crystal must lower than the CL1 and CL2? and they add board capacitance, real capacitance together should equal to the CL1 and CL2?

BR
