TMS320F2802: Standalone Command Line

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking if there is a way to do only erase without the program step using command line interface.  Correct?  Please confirm and we can provide the info.

Also, is this for customer's production programming on fresh devices from TI?  If yes, please tell the customer that they can skip erase since the device comes erased from TI.

The available options vary greatly per device. Please run the uniflash CLI commands to list available flash operations:

For example:

> dslite flash -c <target configuration file> --list-ops

See if some kind of "Erase" operation is available. If so, then you can use that operation to erase the flash.
