TMS320F280025C-Q1: GPIO12/13 pin map in 64pin Q100 device

Part Number: TMS320F280025C-Q1

Hi Champs,

I know that GPIO12 and 13 are assigned to flash test pins for F28004x PMQ package. So, users can't use these two pins in a 64-pin Q-100 device. I'd like to know whether F28002x is also the same situation or not. I found one note that both PMQ devices do not have GPIO12 or 13 in the "F28004x to F28002x Migration Guide". But, there is no information about that in the F28002x datasheet. Is it the same with F28004x? If so, please add that comments on the datasheet.

Thanks,
Steve

  • Hi Steve,

F280025C PM Q-100 device will have GPIO12 and GPIO13 pads.  The latest datasheet rev SPRSP45B in ti.com reflects that.  We'll go ahead and modify the migration guide (SPRACK2A) and remove this note for F280025C PMQ part.  Thanks for highlighting this.

    Regards,
