Good morning,

The 2007 application note "Configuring Source of Multiple ePWM Trip-Zone Events" discusses a method for determining the particular source of trip events in the case of multiple source. The approach is a bit clunky. Given that the processor I am using is newer generation than that which was discussed in the above article, I was wondering if there is a more direct way of doing the same thing on my current processor.

Hi,

There are additional ways to determine trip sources on the newer devices.
Please refer to TZOSTFLG, TZCBDFLG etc. in addition to the registers on the older devices.
Also, if you are using XBARs to connect trip inputs, there are additionally XBARFLGn registers to trace the source of the trip inputs generated through XBAR.
Are you having any specific issue in attaining the functionality you intended to achieve?
