The F2806x devices are considered functional safety quality managed products vs the functional safety compliant classification like the F2807x devices.

While the F2806x does not have Built In Self Test(BIST) for memory in HW, we do have a IEC60730 package with memory tests defined as part of a group of POST type tests. 

The biggest difference here is that the F2806x has to use its own CPU to execute these tests, vs the BIST controller on the F2807x device.
