Hi great TI family ,

I need some example code and document for f2801 from "resource explorer" .

Inside the "resource explorer" , I try to search f2801 from "select a device board" but there is no f2801 but many f280xx device such as " F280024, F280022 .etc.

What should I do.

I am using ccs v8 .

And also could I load f28xxx example codes to f2801?

I am using xds200 emulator

Thanks for your reply ,

I imported these examples to ccs8 and I adjusted the target configuration as follows;

connection: Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Debug Probe

board or device:TMS320F2801

Then I try to load the code to the target and I think it was not work, the log as follows;

C28xx: Loader: One or more sections of your program falls into a memory region that is not writable. These regions will not actually be written to the target. Check your linker configuration and/or memory map.

Hi,

This error indicates that the memory where the program is supposed to be loaded is either write protected or not available. Let me know the example that you are trying to load. Also share the map file and the linker command file that you are using.

Also, ensure that the appropriate device is selected in DSP280x_Device.h file . By default the 2808 is selected.

You can refer the 'DSP280x_HeaderFiles_QuickStart_Readme.pdf' file included in the package for more details.
