Hello,

We replaced drv8301 due to GVDD_UV error and after replace we checked the status register and there were no faults from drv. But we need to double ensure that drv is working properly. So, can you kindly tell us what are all the tests that can be done to check the drv is functioning properly apart from the status check?

    You might refer to the example lab01b and lab01c in motorWare, to check if the PWM, nFault, OCTW, S01, and S02 are right for motor drive.

    You might refer to the DRV8301 datasheet, to check if the communication is good by using SPI and there is any fault flag in the status registers.

    Right now we have unmounted  6 MOSFETs and disconnected the motor from the board. Can you tell me what is the best way to check the DRV is in proper working condition?

    You can just check if the DRV communication is ok with SPI and the control/status register can be written/read if you don't mount the MOSFETs.

    You might mount the MOSFET and don't connect the motor, and then run the lab01 to check the PWM outputs and feedback signals as mentioned above.
