Part Number: DRV8312-69M-KIT

Dear every one!

I just buy the new DRV8312-69M-KIT

And today I just run the first application follow the GUI Quick Start Guide for InstaSPIN_FOC_F2806xM

However, when I finished the downloading the code to target, some seconds later, I got the error Trouble Reading Register PC (Error -1142@0x0)

I can't understand  what problem because I just begin to study with TI

Pls help me to give some advice

Thank you all.

  • You might refer to below former posts to ensure if the driver of emulator is right and the target code is programmed into controller properly. And make sure that the target out file (appProgram.out) is correct for this board and controller.

    Hi Yanming Luo!

I check all thing again and read some discussion as you suggested but I can't solve the problem

I can connect to KIT and download the code to KIT successfully.

I also load the appProgram.out by using CCS .

When I click on the Resume button in CCS, the code  executed however it also stopped in few seconds

I think it is the problem because I import the project example of DRV8312kit_RevD,( proj_lab01),  build and load to the target is OK and run with no error.

However I download the lasted version of InstaSpin from the website www.ti.com/.../motorkitscncd69miso .

So, I don't know exactly what is problem

    Hi every ones!

Can you help me to solve this problem.

    I reinstalled the CCS V8.0, ControlSuite 3.4.8, MotorWave 1_01_00_18 and GUI_Composer_InstaSPINs_F2806xM

When I run the MotorWave and click RUN GUI for InstaSPIN_FOC, the Gui Composer is initial

Load the program, connected to the target and download the application

    All thing is OK

However I test the KIT with two way, there are still some problems

1.Not Identify the motor, using the User.h setting and go the speed control mode. The motor can run at the speed 200,500,1000,... rpm.Howver, some minutes later, I have an error as the image

    2. Identify the motor, the process also start to identify the motor, .After finishing the identify motor, go to Speed Control and run the motor.Motor run some round and get the other error. This error sometime appears in the Idntified processing:

Please help me to check what problem I had.

maybe there are some problems with the KIT, it's new and I just bougt it.

    Thank you all very much

    Best regards!

Could you please follow the instaSPIN lab guide to run some lab projects using CCS, like lab02b, lab05b.., without using the GUI? To have a check the board first. If the board is good at running the lab projects using CCS, you could follow the "GUI Quick Start Guide" in the folder of motorware as below to run the GUI from GUI composer, not from motorware. Maybe, you have to check if the GUI composer is installed properly.

    C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\docs\guis\hvkits_8312s_8301s\instaspin_foc
