I would like to interface my Tamagwa Resolver, using this Resolver to Digital Conversion Kit, with Launchpad F28069M. is it possible? Do I need other components?
  • Yes, you can use. The kit should be sufficient.

Thank you. I have another problem: I read, in the white papers, that this C2000 Resolver to Digital Conversion Kit, feeds a resolver with excitation voltage of 10 Vp-p 10KHz, while my resolver needs a excitation voltage equal to 7 Vrms at 10 Khz. can I use this kit?
  • In reply to Antonio Borelli:

7Vrms will be 20Vp-p. With a 10Vp-p, the feedback signal from resolver may have a lower SNR. You may need a higher power analog front end, but with 10Vp-p, you can still evaluate, but ENOB may be a bit less.
