What is the difference : F28069, F28069U

I heard that F28069 do not support USB peripheral, however F28069U do.

When I read TMx320F2806x Technical Reference Manual, it didn`t announce that.

Anyone tell me the truth, and show me technical references for understand their differences?

Thank you.

Kim

  • Kim,

If you look at Table 3-1 (on pg 14) of the F2806x Datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/tms320f28069), you will see a note at the bottom which states that the USB peripheral only exists on F2806xU MCUs.

The Technical Reference Guide usually just contains information on the peripherals.  It usually does not contain information on how many or what type of peripherals that a particular device has.  Instead, the datasheet usually specifies this information.

    Thank you,
    Brett
