DRV8312 and F28069 controlCARD?

No reason that connection shouldn't work in my mind. I've used the DRV8312 with an F28035 card and external emulator, and F28069 with built on-card iso/emulator, but never with the non-iso F28069 card.

That sounds promising.  I tried to move forward but I keep running into emulator issues.  Here's the current error when I try to start debugger to deploy code:

RTDX Detected Error!
Error Detected in Registration with RTDX. Aborting RTDX Registration.  RTDX is disabled for this session. Contact your Emulator vendor and use CCSetup to select a different one.

Not sure how to resolve RTDX error yet.  I can't find the "CCSetup" program and I run SDConfig everything seems to work.  When running CCS, I'm not sure what indicates a good status when I press the "Test Connection" button.  Here's the result:

that error doesn't look good. would guess it's an emulator HW issue. 

I called Spectrum Digital support and the emulator is working fine.  He concluded that RTDX was not supported in CCS 5.3.  After creating a new F28069 project, I ported the old F2604A code.  I searched "c:\ti" and "c:\workspace" and found references to "RTDX".  How can I find/disable the RTDX dependency?

You are both trying to put non-ISO/JTAG standard TMDSCNCD28069 into DRV8312 with external emulator, and neither of you can connnect?

I am using a «standard«  XDS510-USB, and it was working perfectly with my card with a 320C28346.

I made an update of CCS (I had an old 5.1)  to the new 5.3.xxxxx

And since then when I try to debug (connect) to the target I have always this message:

RTDX Detected error!

Error detected in registration with .....(etc)

I have never used any RTDX function, etc.

I made the post here as I sawthe same bevaiour

I'll try to borrpw an external emulator tomorrow and see if I have similar issues.  What are the SW# settings on your controlCARD?

Thanks, but I have found the solution:

- Uninstall all the previous versions

- erase all the Directories

- Re-start the PC

- Install using CCS5-5.3 xxx.zip (downloaded from TI'site)

- Apply the latest updates

And all works now

So definitely the problem arises when trying to update an old version (it was CCS 5.1) to the CCS5.3 using the standard update mechanism.
