TI-RTOS template not visible in Project templates in CCS 5.4

Hello,

I have C2000 F28M35H52C1 microcontroller and I am trying to create a new project which shall use TI-ROS template.

I installed TI-RTOS and on luanch of CCS it detected and then TI-RTOS was added to the Resource explorer list also. I was also able to successfully run UDP Echo example project which is part of TI-RTOS.

But when i try to create new CCS project I am not able to view TI-RTOS template in the list. I have to create my own program which will be doing UDP communication. Please help me out how do i get the TI-RTOS template?

Also whether i can proceed with any other templates or not?

Hello Gautam,

Thanks for the response. I have gone through the document and as mentioned above i am even able to run example project.

The problem which i am facing is that i am not able to view TI-RTOS option in the project templates while creating a new CCS project. What could be the reason for that?

The only reason I can see is that The TI Tool not installed properly! Try installing it again (after complete removal)

Hello,

I am also facing the same problem.

I lost TI-RTOS template entry in my new CCS project window.

Before 5 days, I could see as TI-RTOS template but now its disappeared as shown in attachment.

I uninstalled CCSv5.4 and then installed again. But situation remains same.(takes long time to install..approx 3hours )

I also unistalled TI-RTOS and installed it again. But situation remains same.

So, how can I see the TI-RTOS template project on which i can build mine one.

Hello,

I am also facing same problem. The TI-RTOS template is disappeared from the New CCS project window.

The snap is attached.

I uninstalled and installed CCSv5.4 but same situation remains.

I uninstalled TI-RTOS and installed but same situation remains.

Please help me out to get TI-RTOS template so the I can proceed with my task.

Do you by any chance have a previous version of CCS? There is some stability issue with CCS v5.4 for sure.

I shall try with earlier version 5.3( Actually it takes around 3-4 hours for uninstall and install...!!)

Hi Manali & Priyank,

I guess your issue should be solved after migrating to CCS v5.3; still we need to get an answer why CCS v5.4 is not compatible!

( Actually it takes around 3-4 hours for uninstall and install...!!)

That's too much. Are you using PIII with 512Mb RAM?? (Just kidding)

The problem is solved. I was selecting C2000 in the Family instead of ARM.

now i an able to select the TI-RTOS template.

F28M35H52C1 to be selected then its ok and we can see TI-RTOS.
