Did F28377D pass IEC606730 certification?

Hi C2000 champion,

As we know that Piccolo and F2833X passed IEC60730 certification, and have IEC30730 software packages, how about F28377D? Did it pass the certification? thanks!

We are considering the creation of the software packages for F2837x. The business case is still being built. For anyone reading this post, if you are interested in IEC60730 support on the F2837x or F2807x series of C2000(tm) Delfino MCUs, please reply to this post. We'd love to hear from you!

My customer wants TMS320F28377D to correspond with SafeTI-60730 software package.
But, I cannot write a customer's information here.

IEC60730 libraries for F2837x and F2807x will be worked on in 2016. I would expect a public release in Q3 most likely.

Hi Clearman,

Is there detail schedule of IEC60730 supoort F2837X? My customer developed solar inverter, now finished SW debug and PP, they need to pass certification, and need IEC60730 for F28377. Thanks!

Is it available if I ask TIer by an e-mail ?

The software is complete, but the documentation and certification process is taking longer than planned. Eventually it will be released publicly.

Thank you, we can open http://www.ti.com/tool/iec60730swpackages and download the second item [SafeTI_Diagnostic_Library_1_00_00_00.exe], setup, then find F28377D files under C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_1_00_01_00\libraries\diagnostic.

By the way I think it is not necessary for us F28377D users to download the first item [C2000MCU_IEC60730_4_00_01_00_setup.exe], but is it correct ?
Or are there any contents which is not included in the second item ?

That is correct. For F2837x, you only need the Diagnostic Library SW Package (ITEM 2).

There is no date currently, for when or if this library will get certified.

Hi Chris,

I worked with IEC60730 software parckage for TMS320F28335. Now, we are moving to TMS320F28377D. Is the 60730 sw library already done for it? How can I get it?

In the website I can only find the Diagnostic Package in www.ti.com/.../iec60730swpackages

Maite,

The Diagnostic Library includes the 60730 library support. We renamed it Diagnostic Library instead of restricting it to one standard because it can be used for many different standards, not just 60730.
