Boot mode selection for tms320f28027

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE, LAUNCHXL-F28027

While emulation mode TRst pin is connected to vcc while for other mode TRst is pull down

1. Now as my application needs more GPIO I need to use the pins used for tdo,TDI,tms, tck. The pins can be used  as GPIO only if TRst is pull down is it right?

2. However

I for the boot to flas mode I need to pullup gpii34 and tdo.

Thus these two pins cannot be used as GPIO am I right.

3. What should be pullup resister to be connected.

Its always better to not fiddle with Boot pins even though you can use them as  GPIO. In the above case while booting from flash GPIO34 has to be pulled up. Once flash boot up is done, you can use it as a GPIO.

    I guess, you're not referring C2000 launchpad schematics... 820E for pull-up.

    C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\C2000_LaunchPad\LAUNCHXL-F28027\HwDevPkg

If you're designing your own board please follow the basic launchpad design. This would help you in a hassle free process of board development.
