graphing

I am using the f28069 for a no bios applications and want to visualize one variable using the graph option but I didn't see this possibility in my tools (CCS6).

any idea ?

Hamid,

Go to the Tools->Graphs menu in CCSv6, then hoose 'Single Time'. Won't this do it for you? Maybe you just didn't spot it.

The problem is under Tools I don't have Graphs (see bellow) and I don't know why?

Hamid, You've to be in Active debug mode! Also, I hope you've set your target configuration. I can't see any debugger listed under debug window above.

The screen shot you sent looks suspicious. Go to the Help->About menu and post a screen shot. It should look something like this:

Hamid,

Was scratching my head here, and finally figured out what is going on. You seem to be using the "C/C++" perspective. I've never used this perspective myself, and it seems to have some unique menus (which is what was throwing me off). You need to change to one of the other perspective. As Gautam said, typically you would be in Debug perspective when doing a graph. Go to Window->Open_Perspective->Other, and choose Debug from the menu.

Great! All you need to do is right click on the variable and click on "Add to graph" option. Later you need to enable "Continuous refresh" button.

When you create the graph, there is a start address box in the graph properties. Put the address (symbol) there.
