Hello to everyone,

I'm facing an issue when I tried to migrate my code from Mw13 to Mw15. I'm using 28027F chip and CCS 6.1.1.00022 .

On motorware 13 I could run and debug my code based on proj_lab09 and always working fine. Recently I decided to use the Motorware 15 to explore the news labs and features, but after change all the files and do the modifications to use the same code that I'm using on the MW13 I had the follow error message:

Already unnistal and reinstall MW15, also started a new workspace,... to a fresh install like I had read on a post on forum.

I already verify that the .cmd files aren't the same from MW13 and MW15. Anyone already faced something like this? How can I around this issue?

Hi Bruno,

The size of your "ramfuncs" section (0x84e) is larger than what I am seeing on my side (0x688). Have you added code to the ISR?

You could allocate more memory to "P_RAML0" from "D_RAML0". Review your MAP file to see how much unused memory is available in "D_RAML0".

Yes, I added some code to the ISR. On the "D_RAML0" I have a lot of space unused, as you could see:

My doubt it's how I could change the map file to allocate more memory on the P_RAML0 without overlap with other memory range.

This is correct or I should change the lenght of D_RAML0 with the difference of the increment on P_RAML0, 0x00800 -> 0x00700?

Hi Bruno,

Yes, increase the length of D_RAML0 and by the same amount reduce P_RAML0, keeping the sum of both sections equal to the size of L0 as shown in the datasheet (4K).
