InstaSPIN can't enable FLag_enableSys and there is no error (USER_ErrorCode_NoError)

Hello,

I've ran into this snag and I'm not sure why. My motor tuning has been going along well and I finally got to a great stage in Lab5b with tuning the speed PI, the motor was running great at high speed. I turned everything off and when I went back into debug to run the code again I'm stuck. I didn't make any changes to code. When I go to toggle enableSys (in any lab code now) I get no response and no error code is returned.

Any thoughts on what might have gone wrong here?

Using: DRV8301BOOST with F2802xLAUNCH.

I assume when you launched the debug session the program was downloaded to flash on the LP again?

I would try power cycling everything, including reopening CCS in a new workspace

Hi Chris,

Yes, the device flashes and launches as expected.

I have power cycled everything, restarted CSS, restarted windows.

when you set the EnableSys flag does it stay set?

are you able to toggle the RunIdentify flag? None of the states change?

I can't set either of them, it doesn't stay set.

if it is toggling false there must be an error code being set. from proj_lab05b these are the only lines of code that can toggle it back to false:

if(CTRL_isError(ctrlHandle))
{

Looks like this was a PEBKAC issue.

Continuous variable refresh got turned off in the debug window and I missed it, everything is fine now.
